Locally produced items, food, drink, demonstrations and have-a-go crafting opportunities


There will be loads happening at out market where there will be a focus on locally produced goods and how to protect our environment. Plenty of opportunities to see interesting demonstrations and even make something yourself.

Amabel Illustrations 

Prints, cards, paintings all created by Amabel. Amabel has published 3 illustrated children's books and will be reading from her latest book Save the Earth ....because we have to at 3:00 pm in the Lodge. It is a story about how 3 friends discover what they can do to help the planet as the climate changes. We can all work together wherever we live in the world.

Bailey's Home Studio 

Handcrafted homeware and ornaments. 

Children can colour in small, kid's character figurines along with print outs of woodland creatures. Children must be supervised. 


Cakes, baked goods and fudge.  

Cake decorating available on the day. £1.00 per cupcake to decorate it... or free to decorate when spending over £10.00


Make your own jewellery. Each session will run for 45 mins for 6 people at a time. Note that there is a small charge of £3.00 for the materials.

London Borough of Bexley 

In addition to providing lots of information about how to recycle in Bexley, there will be an activity for children to make a woodland monster by reusing materials typically found in the house.

Local honey and beeswax products.

Come and see a teaching hive, bee information sheets and small beekeeper equipment such as smoker,  hive tool and beekeeper suits (adult & children size) 

Jane will give a talk on Bees and Beekeeping at 12:30 in the Lodge.

Rani's Mendhi 

Henna and jewellery.

Henna application at £5 for each hand with a range of affordable jewellery also available.


Wasteless Market 

Eco-friendly refills and household essentials plus recycling of hard to recycle plastics for charity. 

Guess the number of crisp packets in the bag, nearest guess wins a prize. Winners will be notified by text after the event.



Selling upcycled bags and purses: shopping bags and bottle carriers from broken umbrellas, purses and pouches from wet suit, Wallets and gift bags from coffee bags and crisp packets. Roses and scrunchies from ties.

Demonstration of how to make a shopping bag from an old umbrella with a pattern available to try at home. At 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
