Join us to celebrate and protect our ancient woodland.
A day of events, hands-on activities and ancient crafts focusing on nature.
Our beautiful ancient woodland is in South East London and easily accessible by London Underground, Network Rail or bus. Experience the calming effects of nature and old country traditions; see demonstrations of ancient woodland crafting skills; join in with our various crafting activities and enjoy folk music in a cloister. There will be an archaeological talk, meditation and well-being events and story telling. The day will round off with Morris Dancing and a grand procession which we encourage everyone to join.
There will be a market selling food and local sustainable produce such as refilling stalls along with guidance on recycling, demonstrations, crafting and lots more.
You can also discover our ancient abbey ruins, scientifically important woodland, fossil pit and collection of interesting trees while you are here and take advantage of our five arch-themed photo locations.
